Tex-Over Farms

Tex-Over Farms is a top-rate horse training and boarding facility comprised of 50 acres nestled in a beautiful forest setting just off I-45 between The Woodlands and Conroe, Texas. With 6 riding arenas (2 are covered) and 20+ acres of trails/cross country course, Tex-Over Farms is the ideal barn in the greater Houston area.


Learn to Ride

Tex-Over Farms offer Classical English riding instruction in Dressage and Hunter/Jumpers. Founded in 1980, Tex-Over has been an essential part of the Houston equestrian world, having hosted shows and clinics, as well as being home to numerous top-notch trainers. With a healthy mix of high level competition horses, school horses, and boarder horses, every horse is handled with the upmost care and offers the best amenities available.

We specialize in FEI, Show Jumping, All-Around, Starting/Breaking, Beginner Lessons, Dressage, English, Jumpers, and Eventing. We offer an onsite training, transportation to shows, and our trainer accompanies rider and horse to shows.

Alfalfa/Timothy hay instead of Coastal hay


Electrical fee in summer months


Transportation to A&M per trip, and includes 3 hours of driver’s time.

If driver must wait for horse, add $70.00 (John) or $60.00 (Tatum or Jessica) per hour for time away from farm.)

$90 + diesel

Transportation to local vet per trip

(add $15.00 per hour waiting time.
